With its Basic09 lacquered door model, Acem is the first door manufacturer ever to adopt an MDF water repellent door frame.
Two swelling tests (EN321 – Cyclic swelling test, and EN317 – Swelling test after 24 hours) were performed for over 1 year on the Basic09 door frame. The tests were passed with flying colours, attesting improved product durability in a moist environment.
